The Ulster Hockey Schools Finals continued on Thursday with the boys taking over. The first match on Thursday was the Schools U14 Ferris Cup final between Cookstown High and RBAI at Stormont Pavilion.
With the teams selected from 1st to 3rd year, there was an interesting variation on players sizes but they all soon showed they were there on merit in a busy first 10 minutes.

Cookstown seemed to be edging territory and possession as the game settled down and they got their breakthrough 14 minutes in when Noah Cuddy got the final touch for the opening goal to give Cookstown a 1 – 0 lead which they took into the break.
