On a mild, sunny Sunday afternoon South Dublin based, UCD II, travelled to Deramore Park, to play Belfast Harlequins II in a Women’s Irish Junior Cup tie.
As both teams sounded each other out, Quins began to dominate the midfield and, though UCD tested the Quins keeper, most play was in the UCD half. Eventually on the 1st quarter whistle, Susie McCollum scored from close range to give Quins a 1 – 0 lead.
