Stormont hosted a double header of Senior Schoolgirl semi finals on Wednesday afternoon. First up was a Co Armagh/Co Down affair between arch-rivals Banbridge Academy and The Royal School Armagh.
Armagh took the lead on 3 minutes, courtesy of a penalty stroke, converted by Scarlett Taylor. Only a minute later Banbridge equalised when Alyssa Somerville spun and shot from the edge of the D. Banbridge had chances to take the lead but a robust Armagh defence held firm. The 1st quarter ended 1 – 1.
