Campbell last faced and defeated Sullivan in the schools cup 4th round Feb 2019 and the two sides have not played against each other since in any friendlies or competitions. Sullivan, at home, would fancy their chances but the shark tank has historically been a happy hunting ground for the boys in black. A feisty derby to be relished.
The home side had the upper hand over the opening ten minutes pinning Campbell down in their 22 with intelligent kicking from outside half Harry McKeown. From an attacking line out 10 metres out Sullivan’s hooker Nathan Noble collected his own throw in and powered over for Sullivan’s opening try on the 13th minute. McKewon missed the extras tugging his shot left of the posts to leave the score at 5 – 0.
