RBAI got us off with both teams showing nerves with some early fumbles before Campbell worked a move into RBAI’s 22, winning a penalty which was converted by wing Peter Henry. 0 – 3 on the 7th minute.
RBAI responded immediately setting up a maul from an attacking line out, hooker and captain Ross Dillon falling over the line get his side off the mark. Conversion missed, score now 5 – 3.
Ten minutes later RBAI got their second try, winger Alex Harrower rounded the Campbell defence after the Inst forwards made hard yards forcing Campbell defence to narrow. Again the conversion was missed leaving the score at 10 – 3.
