McDowell Shield: Banbridge Academy 0 Wallace High School O Semi Final

I caught up with the first quarter of the McDowell Shield match between Banbridge Academy 2nd XI and Wallace High School 2nd XI early Saturday morning at Lurgan Junior High.

I was only able to stay for the first quarter during which Banbridge seemed to be creating the bulk of the chances.

Banbridge Academy and Wallace High School 2nd XI’s meet in a McDowell Shield semi final at Lurgan Junior High on Saturday morning.

However Wallace must have found their feet as the game ended as a 0 – 0 draw and progression to the McDowell Shield Final was determined by runs.

According to my “sources” the runs went to the wire and Wallace progressed by netting the final run in at the second attempt.
