Mossley hosted Omagh in a women’s Irish Hockey Trophy semi final early Saturday afternoon in front of a big and enthusiastic crowd.
It was the home team who made a fast start, hassling the Omagh defence and putting them under pressure with the visiting goalkeeper being tested from both open play and penalty corners.
Slowly but surely Omagh eased their way back into the game and by the end of the first quarter were putting Mossley under increasing pressure.

The second quarter continued as before the break but it was Mossley who broke the deadlock with No 13, Lucy Campbell hammering the ball home with a fine, reverse stick strike sending the home crowd wild.
