In our second delayed Schools Cup group game we caught up with regent House and Omagh Academy in Group E.
In a tight first quarter of the game, neither side really threatened.
Slightly against the run of play at the time, it was Regent House who got the first points on the board when Matthew McBride went over in the corner. Zach Campbell narrowly missed the tough conversion attempt to leave the score at 5 – 0.
Continuing where they had left off before Regent’s score, Omagh continued to press and Allister Crawford went over 10 minutes later but the conversion attempt by Andrew Johnston hit the left stick to leave the scores level at 5-a-piece . . .
