The second semi final at Meadowbank Sports Arena featured Ballymoney High School and Craigavon Senior High School in an entertaining game, though it looked in the early stages that it was going to be a bit one sided.
Craigavon started strongly with their captain Ted McQuitty calling the shots in mid field. They looked to have crossed on their first attack, only to be called back for a forward pass, but McQuitty made amends shortly after crossing out on the right for the opening score to give Craigavon a 0 – 5 lead.
Ballymoney took a bit of time to find their tempo and Craigavon continued to create chances, another try called back for a forward pass before winger Bailey Lappin crossed out wide to finish under the posts for Dylan Adamson . . .
