Schools Friendly: Wallace High 27 Campbell College 35

by

, , ,

I popped along to Lisburn from Banbridge for the 1st XV friendly between Wallace High and Campbell College on Saturday morning. Unfortunately the match kicked off earlier than billed and Campbell’s Will Alexander, I believe, scored just as I arrived to take the score to 3 – 7 in Campbell’s favour after an early penalty from Wallace’s Charlie Beattie.

Campbell’s power up front was too much for Wallace.

Despite the final score of 27 – 35 to Campbell it was a scrappy old match, strictly refereed, with four yellow cards. Campbell’s Alexander barged over for a second try half way through the first half to take 3 – 14 lead with Matt Rea adding the conversion.

    It doesn’t work

    1. Sorry Charlie – Id tagged Wallace Hockey team instead of their rugby team so you would have needed rugby and hockey subscriptions to view. Should be fixed now.
