As part of the celebrations of the 50th Anniversary of Lady Mary Peters stunning pentathlon gold medal win at the 1972 Munich Olympics a Special Olympics was held ahead of the Belfast International Meeting at the Mary Peters Track on Saturday morning.
Athletes competed in Girls and Boys 100m races as well as “shot” and “javelin” throw events in a fun filled morning.
