Athletics NI held the Belfast International Meet on Saturday at the Mary Peters Track. The Meeting coincided with the 50th Anniversary of Mary Peters’ stunning pentathlon gold medal win at the 1972 Munich Olympics.
Lady Mary Peters was greeted warmly in the opening ceremony and was in attendance for the day taking great delight in handing out the medals to the prize winners.
