Pegasus and Lurgan met in the delayed Denman Shield Semi Final on Sunday afternoon at Lisnagarvey with the winner to progress to the Denman Shield Final at Stormont on Saturday the 14th May where they will face Banbridge, who won the first semi final of the afternoon.

Pegasus lived up to their favourites tag with a composed performance, against a hard working Lurgan side, securing a 3 – 1 win in the sunshine at ‘Garvey.

Lucy McKee opened the scoring for Pegasus on the 10th minute, finishing off a goal mouth scramble after good work by Leah Paul and the all Ireland side doubled their lead in the second quarter with McKee, again finding the net, on the 20th minute.
