Banbridge Academy and Wallace High School 2nd XI teams met in the Dowdall Cup final at Havelock Park on Tuesday afternoon.
Both teams looked well up for this one in an entertaining game with a bit of an edge. However the sides cancelled each other out in a fairly even first quarter which remained scoreless.
Banbridge took the lead at the start of the second quarter with Josh Cash finding the net in open play and Banbridge took a 1 – 0 lead into the break.

Wallace started to get on top in the second half, forcing a series of penalty corners until Michael McIlroy converted to tie the game 1 – 1 midway . . .
