On a sunny, but breezy Saturday morning Royal Belfast Academical Institution clashed with Omagh Academy in the Schools Cup Round of 16.

Inst applied pressure from the kick off and took the lead after 3 minutes, through a Jack Parkinson try, converted by Josh Eagleson. Omagh replied 2 minutes later with a Andrew Johnson penalty goal to leave Inst leading 7-3.
An Eagleson penalty goal eased Inst to 10-3. Omagh, who had been under the cosh began to play more expansive rugby and were rewarded on 21 minutes, when Alex Colhoun burrowed his way over beside the posts for a try, converted by Johnson, to level the teams.
