2022-01-19 Ards 6 Randalstown 2 Friendly

As other Premier League teams try to catch up on their fixtures, Ards invited Randalstown to Strathearn School on Wednesday night for a friendly, with Ards coming away 6-2 victors.

The first quarter was mostly Ards in possession in the visitors’ defensive half; Randalstown struggling to link up before the Ards forwards made a steal to attack the circle. Some close calls in the opening minutes were saved off the line by Randalstown defender Grace Palmer, but Ards eventually managed to find their opening goal with a well rehearsed penalty corner routine, finished by Frankie Brown.
