Belfast Royal Academy entertained Enniskillen Royal Grammar on Saturday morning with the home side continuing their good run of form with a 22 – 19 win in an entertaining match.

BRA took the lead towards the end of the first quarter when Adam Keed crossed for a try, converted by Daniel Logan, but before long the action was up the other end with Ryan Phair pulling back five points for the visitors with an unconverted try.

Enniskillen went ahead when Stuart Brown crossed for their second which Eddie Keyes converted to give the visitors a 7 – 12 lead.

The visitors enjoyed the bulk of territory and possession during the remainder of the half but a late break by BRA’s abrasive Tom Stewart was finished off by their flanker to tie the game 12  all at the break.

The visitors went back in front straight after the resumption of the second half with Callum Smyton slicing through midfield for a try converted by Keys.

However, the home side controlled the bulk of the remainder of the game. Rob Sturgess responded with a try, converted by Logan, minutes later to tie the game at 19 – all.

With neither side able to find the try line again, a penalty from Daniel Logan midway through the second half decided the game in favour of the home side.
