Belfast High School and Rainey Endowed School met in the final of the Schools Bowl at Ballyclare High School on Saturday morning.

As befitting a cup final, there was plenty of action from both teams early on with the bulk of the attacking play at the Belfast end where Rainey probed for the opening.
Great tackling kept them at bay but eventually the ball was passed wide quickly and Rainey’s No 15, Cameron Smith rounded the defence to score close to the posts with Louis Regan converting.
