Our last schools coverage was on 11 March 2020 so it was great to get along to Ballymoney on Saturday morning for a squad hit out between Dalriada Grammar and Limavady Grammar.
The game was played in three parts with, roughly, 6th form and Upper 6th players in the first and third periods and predominantly 5th form players in the second third, though the players were chopped and changed fairly regularly.
The first period was a fairly cagey affair with Limavady recording the only score which came from Benjamin Howe who crossed in the corner and knocked over the conversion to give Limavady a 0 – 7 lead.
