Old Belvedere Women welcomed AIL newcomers Wicklow to the Ollie Campbell Park on Saturday evening for community Series match in the Leinster Conference.
Wicklow produced a determined first half performance making the D4 Dutchess’ work hard for their scores.
Belvo’s first try came at the end of the first quarter with D4 debutant Alannah O’Carroll squeezing in out wide giving Jemma Jackson a difficult conversion which fell just short.

Wicklow hit back with a penalty to take the score to 5 – 3 but minutes later Derv Nic a Bhaird crashed over close to the posts for the home sides second try, which Jackson converted.
Wicklow continued to enjoy good periods . . .
