Believe it or not I was planning to do something like this this season with the bulk of the images coming from the cup finals and the league play offs which we would of course have been covering. The big advantage would have been getting those images in daylight! However, our extensive coverage has enabled us to get head shots of all the players even if we had to go back a few seasons for some of them!
About a month ago I messaged three of the top coaches in the women’s game in Ireland for their top three players, across all positions. I’ve taken those nominations, added my own and produced the following list of the three hot picks for this season’s The Front Row Union Women’s AIL Dream Team.
Below are the nominees, the rest is up to you, vote for your favourite player in each position.
