A young Ulster side came out on top 21 – 5 against, international opponents, Uruguay at a wet Ravenhill on Friday evening.

It was far from a classic, but given the conditions, the Ulster youngsters knuckled down well and did what needed to be done.

Marcus Rea was amongst the scorers for Ulster against Uruguay

Captain Adam McBurney bagged a brace, finding himself at the back of two impressive mauls and Marcus Rea went over for the third with Johnny McPhillips converting all three.

Gaston Mieres crossed for the visitors late in the second half.
