HEC: Teams up for Racing 92 v Ulster

Ulster have named their team that will face the difficult task of toppling group favourites, Racing 92 tomorrow evening (KO 17:30 UK/IRE).

Dan McFarland retains his faith in Michael Lowry at fullback while John Cooney has not recovered and therefore misses the trip to the ‘U’ arena.

After coming on for Ross Kane towards the end of the first half and improving the scrum, Marty Moore will make his first start in Ulster colours with Kane dropping to the bench. Andrew Warwick and Rory Best continue in their respective positions in the front row. Alan O’Connor is rested with Kieran Treadwell starting alongside Iain Henderson in the second row. A back row of Marcell Coetzee, Jordi Murphy and Nick Timoney that performed well last Saturday remains unchanged.

Dave Shanahan replaces the injured John Cooney at scrum half while Jonny Stewart takes his place as a replacement. Billy Burns is the only Ulster player to have started every game this season and remains as Ulster’s out-half option. Stuart McCloskey and Will Addison link up . . .
