The teams were announced earlier this afternoon for Friday night’s PRO12 clash between Ulster and Edinburgh at Murrayfield, kick off 19:35. Live on BBCNI.
Sam Windsor, Rob Lyttle and Brett Herron come into the backline which should be interesting as far as Windsor and Herron are concerned; Lyttle, well, we know what he can do.
Windsor has seemingly found a new lease of life with that little bit of extra time at centre apparently suiting his game. Certainly he’s been the form player in the A team in their last couple of outings. Herron however hasn’t been so hot but, with that all to rare commodity of a calm and experienced scrum half playing inside him, we might see one of his better games.
Up front Pete Browne and Clive Ross come into the back row at the expense of Robbie Diack and Roger Wilson, Diack drops to the bench and Wilson is injured. Browne is an interesting selection at openside but he’s certainly athletic enough to do a job, let’s just . . .
