Women: All Ireland League Week 5 Preview.

by

,

There’s another set of cracking fixtures this Sunday in the Women’s All Ireland League and, as always, we’ll start with our featured team, Cooke Women RFC, and their clash with Old Belvedere at Shaws Bridge, kick off 13:00.

it’s a pity the game clashes with Ulster’s opening European Cup match but if you prefer your rugby live and in the flesh then get along and give the local girls your support as they try to shake off a couple of underpower performances from the last two of weeks.

Cooke will certainly need to find their game against Old Belvedere, a team featuring more than a few Internationals, if they are to get a result but this is the sort of challenge that that Belfast side should relish if they are to get their season back on track.

I’d like to predict a win for the home side but I think it’ll be the visitors that will come out on . . .
