B&I Cup: Teams up for London Scottish v Ulster A

The teams are up for Ulster A’s British and Irish Cup match away to London Scottish at Athletic Ground tomorrow afternoon, kick off 2:30pm.

The big news is that the team features Wiehahn Herbst who makes his first competitive appearance since January, the introduction of the prop is one of six changes to the side from last weeks successful run out against Jersey Reds. Youngsters Rob Lyttle, Jacob Stockdale and Angus Lloyd replace Tommy Bowe and Sam Windsor and David Shanahan with all three of the latter on standby for the senior side throughout the week.

Craig Treiner and Lewis Sampson join the replacements as Ulster opt for a 5 – 2 forwards to backs split.

It’s good however that the management team made the calls on the starting line up early, rather than parachute in others late in the week, giving the team a chance to work together . . .
