It’s not exactly a winner takes all, with three games still to be played, but it may as well be as whatever team wins this one will more than likely go on to win the play offs.
Ulster’s hopes have been dealt a blow through the absence of Nick Williams, but in my reckoning these are still the two strongest squads in the PRO12 even if both teams have been disappointing by their application in some matches this season.
However, there should be no problems for either side in getting up for this one for, as well as qualification for the knock out stages being at stake, there are also a few personal scores to be settled, especially by the Ulster players who have suffered unfavourable comparisons with their Leinster counterparts by the myopic Southern press.
Nearly every match up has mouth watering possibilities but it’s our favourites in the front five that are going to decide this one and it’s here in the underrated Black, Lutton and Browne that Ulster have the wherewithal to win.
Twenty-four hours to go and I’m already getting excited, cant wait so here’s the prediction …
The FRU Predicts. I’m expecting Ulster to pull this out of the bag with something to spare, our underrated front five making the difference in a surprisingly comfortable win.
