There are six changes to the Ireland U20’s that lost to Wales last Friday night. Hugo Keenan moves from wing to full back with Conor O’Brien moving from the bench to fill the wing berth. Conor Kenny also makes the move from the bench to start in the front row.
The new faces are Max Deegan, who is parachuted directly into the starting line up at No 8, and Conán O’Donnell and Terry Kennedy, who will also make their first appearances this series if they get a start from the bench.
Ulster’s two representatives Johnny McPhillips and Adam McBurney start at out half and hooker respectively for the second game in a row.
France recorded a comfortable 40 – 3 win against Italy last time out with Ireland slumping 24 – 35 in an entertaining, but error ridden, game against Wales and the Irish lads will need to show a big improvement in composure if the are to record a win against the firm favourites.
