Oh dear my first attempt at this report got lost in this interweb thingy – maybe someone was telling me I needed to calm down a bit – but here we are with take two!
Ulster slumped to a 21 -20 defeat to Munster on Friday night at Thomond Park.
A last minute try from Nick Williams wasn’t enough to make up for a mis-firing performance from the men in white where they failed to build on a opening twenty minutes where they raced to a 12 – 0 lead through the boot of Ian Humphreys.
Despite grabbing Ulster’s only try Nick Williams appeared to have a bigger effect on teh twentieth minute with an act of petulance that seemed to get Munster worked up.
From then on in it was like watching a club game in the lower leagues where the younger, fitter side are put completely off their game by a load old Tankards, smashing and bashing and getting under their skin.
Ulster imploded . . .
