PRO12: It ain’t where you start …

League-Table

… it’s where you finish and, after Friday night’s loss to Glasgow, Ulster have their work cut out to get a home semi final. In fact two wins, against Leinster and Munster are likely not to be enough with Glasgow expected to pick up a minimum of ten points from their remaining three fixtures against bottom of the table opposition.

Ulster are the only team that have to play teams above them in the league and they would need to record bonus point wins against Munster and Leinster and then still rely on Glasgow slipping up against either Edinburgh, Treviso or Zebre to stand any chance of getting in the top two!

Top Five Teams: Remaining Fixtures.

Leinster (74)
Munster (68)
Ulster (65)
Glasgow (64)
Ospreys (60)

Ulster (A) +1
E’burgh (A) +1
Leinster (H) +4
E’burgh (H) +1
Zebre . . .

  1. I would not write off Glasgow for a home semi berth they just have3 games left v Edi Treviso and Zebre they are bang in form and I would expect them to get the three wins and at least two winning bonus points

  2. Seasons been over since Saracens match. PRO12 only a diversion. I actually think we’ll beat Leinster at a packed Ravers and Munster at an empty Thomond for an away trip to somewhere in Scotland where we’ll have more supporters than the Weegies! Love to see a munster v saracens final though! #SUFTUM

  3. Just think leinster will beat ulster and thats their season over

  4. 5th at best. There will be no hang over after we beat Toulon. The double is there for the taking. SUAF.

  5. Still think they’ll finish 5th, unfortunately
