Club: Armagh RFC take’s on its first Girls Centra Summer Camp

This summer Armagh Rugby Football Club has been selected as the venue for one of three all girl Centra Summer Camps. This is due to the success of the Armagh Junior Rugby in producing some fresh new talent.

The camp is aimed at introducing girls to rugby while also providing a safe and fun environment to develop fitness and skills that can be reflected in other sports.

We hope to have a great turn out especially after the recent success of the Six Nations Women’s Grand Slam Trophy Tour in the local Primary and Secondary Schools.

The Camp is being help from Monday 5th – Wednesday 7th August from 9.30am – 1.30pm and it is £30 for the 3 days. All participants get a free boot bag, rugby ball and Centra Summer Camp t-shirt. It is for all girls aged 12 – 17, no experience required.

Throughout the 3 days there will be appearances from male and female Ulster Rugby Players, some of which have strong links with Armagh Rugby Club.

To sign up for the camp go on to the Ulster Rugby website or for more information contact:
