six nations previewGuest columnist Graham Boville previews the penultimate week of the 2013 RBS Six Nations, which sees Ireland face off against France at the Aviva in tomorrow’s late afternoon kick-off.

It is hard to imagine how Ireland must be feeling about their current Six Nations campaign as they prepare for battle against an equally bewildered French team on Saturday, for pride above anything else.

The string of recent poor results thus far from both nations means that defeat for either of the two could conceivably leave them clutching the wooden spoon at the close of play next weekend.

Ireland, having managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory for the second time in two matches, are clearly doing a lot of things right. The statistics following the Scotland game make for interesting reading (if you do not count the one that . . .
