The Ulster management team has named an extended squad ahead of Friday’s sold out RaboDirect PRO12 fixture against Ospreys at Ravenhill (kick off 7.05pm).
Hmm, I wonder what horse-trading has been going on with the IRFU over Stuart Olding. He was one of Ireland U20’s stand out players last weekend when he ran out at full back and it looks, with no Jared Payne in the squad, that he is likely to be called in as cover for out half and full back?
With, only 25 named, it leaves only two to drop out and it’ll be one of Brady, Herring or Annett (anyone’s guess really) up front and one from Olding or Cochrane I’d guess in the backs. Personally I’d like to see Olding sent back to the U20’s as they will struggle without him!
