Ulster have been paired with English Premiership side Saracens in the quarter-finals of the Heineken Cup. The winner of the game will then have home advantage in the semi-final of the competition against either Toulon or Leicester Tigers.

Despite having won five of their six Pool games, including a first-ever competitive win in France, Mark Anscombe’s side missed out on a home quarter-final. The Province finished on 23 points, level with Saracens and Toulon, but having scored fewer tries, finished as 5th placed qualifier.

I agree John. This is not the worst draw we could have had. We did not put on our best performance on Saturday yet we came away with a win in France, which says a lot for the character of the squad. I’d expect Ulster’s quota of tickets to sell out, so away support should be able to make itself heard. Sarries are no mugs but we can match or better them. Let’s hope our injury situation improves, we have some breathing space on that front. We’re down to the real business now but the point is “WE’RE THERE”. Let’s get behind the team like we did at Thomund last year. Ulster supporters must not be found wanting. SUFTUM.
