This could be the week that decides the AIL1B, though in all likelyhood the final decision will roll on for another week.
A bonus point win for Belfast Harlequins against UCD would see the title heading to Deramore Park and earleir in the season it would have appeared a done deal. However Quins haven’t been in top form of late and the loss of Neil McComb and Michael Allen will be a big blow for the home side. The talismanic McComb has been an inspirational player for the Belfast outfit this season and I’m sure he’ll be viewing his selection for Ulster this weekend with mixed feelings!
Having said that we’re predicting a win for the home side but it’ll only be a four pointer, opening the door for, Ulster rivals, Dungannon.
The Stevenson Park outfit would go top on points difference if they, themselves, manage to secure a bonus point win, at home against Ballymena, but with Dungannon missing Patrick Jackson and Ali Birch to the provincial side . . .
