It’s going down to the final week in the Ulster Bank League 1B with Ulster heavyweights Belfast Harlequins and Dungannon slugging it out for top spot.
Belfast Harlequins have their destiny in their own hands and a bonus point win against UL Bohs in Limerick would ensure that the Belfast side finish in first place. However Bohs have been in pretty good form of late, and placed third, the home side have an outside chance of gaining top spot.
Quins have a few players involved in Friday nights Ulster squad for the game against Leinster but we expect the Ulster contingent to be parachuted in for Saturdays match and this should be enough to give the Belfast side the advantage. We’re predicting a win for Quins but only by a couple of points.
If Quins fail to secure a win bonus the door is opened a crack for Dungannon to take top spot but the Stevenson Park outfit are going to have to do it the hard way with a bonus point . . .
