We are pleased to announce that The Errigle Inn, 312-320, Ormeau Rd, Belfast, have agreed to show dedicated coverage of all Ireland’s World Cup games and all Ulster’s away games for the coming season.
Dedicated coverage starts this Saturday with the World Cup warm up match between Ireland and France, KO 19:30, to be followed by the final World Cup warm up game, Ireland v England, on Saturday 27th August. KO 14:30.
The Errigle will be opening it’s doors early on Sunday 11th September for Ireland’s opening fixture against USA, KO 07:00 with South Africa v Wales to follow.
Coverage continues on Saturday 17th September with a 09:30 start for Ireland v Australia and it’s another early game on Sunday 25th with Ireland v Russia kicking off at 06:00.
Sunday 2 October sees Ireland’s crunch match with Italy at 08:00, leaving plenty of time for celebrating should Ireland qualify for the Quarter Finals.
Where possible, matches will be shown in HD.
Full breakfasts will be available for all morning matches.
We’ll publish details of the Quarter Final coverage nearer the date.
As well as showing all Ireland’s early morning matches The Errigle is the only bar in Belfast that guarantees coverage of every Ulster away game, that is televised, for all of the 2011 – 12 season.
The Errigle hopes to kick off it’s Ulster coverage with the Aironi v Ulster match on Saturday 10th September, KO 15:00, if an Italian broadcaster is announced, but there will definitely be live, uninterrupted coverage of Ospreys v Ulster on Sunday 25th September, KO 16:30 and the Dragons v Ulster on Friday 30th September.
