Women’s Weekly Round-UP

There were only three teams in action this week with Belfast Harlequins at home to Galwegians, Cooke away to Cill Dara and City of Derry travelling to Ballincollig for the second round of the All Ireland Cup / Shield.

Cooke are still in the running for the Cup with an impressive 62 – 8 over Cill Dara. Belfast Harlequins went down 10 – 31 against Galwegians however it was a gallant performance from the local side.

City of Derry remain in the running for the All Ireland Shield with a 39 – 5 defeat of Ballincollig.

Whilst Cooke and City of Derry continue to carry the Ulster flag in the All Ireland competition, the focus in Ulster turns back to the Development League with a number of games still to be played.
