Rugby Rankings Week 11

by

Only a few mid week matches again last week because of the weather, but, as always, not without surprises.

The biggest story has to be Ballyclare HS finally losing a match this season and, therefore, losing their 100% record. This came at the hands of Ballmena Academy who see themselves rise from 6th into 3rd because of such a great win. Ballyclare stay top for now, but the gaps among them and other teams at the top has been reduced.

Foyle & L’Derry College have found themselves with something of a curse after their great win against RBAI a few weeks ago. Since then, they have lost four matches in a row, the latest defeat coming at the hands of an ever improving Rainey ES school who have now climbed the table into 21st. Foyle and L’Derry have slipped in to 13th this week and will need to improve their form soon to stop the movement down the table.
