This week’s table sees a lot of changes due to matches recommencing after half-term and the production of one or two surprises around the province.
They started early in the week with Down HS sneaking a two-point win over Wallace HS away from; a result that should make other teams wary if they meet them in the Cup this year and which sees Down climb two places into 10th. Surprisingly though, given that result, Wallace also managed to climb one place, but this was due to other teams around them having mixed fortunes – bringing us nicely to our next ‘shock’: Campbell’s home defeat to Dalriada.
Dalriada have been something of the ‘Goldilocks’ team for this season in that their playing hasn’t been too hot or too cold; perhaps this is what made them ‘just right’ for claiming a victory at Fox’s Field on Saturday. As with the previous teams, it may . . .
