Matt Williams is in with a chance of winning a trophy in his first full season in charge as Ulster take on Connacht this Friday night in Galway.
With Munster, Leinster and Ulster all sitting on three wins each in the Irish Interprovincial table Ulster have a chance of winning “Ireland’s Oldest Trophy” if they manage to turn over the Westies in this Magners League clash. It is understood that Ulster Rugby will go full out next week with open top bus victory parades being organised in rugby strongholds Larne, Belfast, Ballymena, Coleraine and Dungannon but not in Armagh as it is thought it will clash with Munster’s Magners League Victory Tour for their loyal supporters in this area!
